Volunteer Home Care has an immediate management opening at our Jackson, TN Private Duty branch.

The Private Duty Clinical Manager will supervise and manage all aspects of the clinical operation in this branch. This includes oversight of scheduling, staffing and coordinating all operational activities in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assists in recruiting, hiring, evaluating and terminating all personnel.  Institutes, interprets and documents disciplinary action.

• Ensures safe and therapeutically effective service to the patient/family. Assures that patient needs are continually assessed, and assures the development, implementation and update of individualized plans of care.

• Ensure documentation according to policy, state and federal regulations, the provision of exceptional care in accordance with the Agency’s mission, and coordination of care between disciplines.

• Implement the Agency Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan.

• Perform on-site visits PRN to assess appropriateness of care, admit and/or reassess patients for continuing needs.

• Ensures safe and therapeutically effective service to patient/family. Assures that patient needs are continually assessed, and assures the development, implementation and update of individualized plans of care.

• Oversees the aide competency program and ensures the skill and competency of all aides working for the branch.

• Reviews patient medical records for compliance with federal, state, local and Agency policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

​

• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

• Current licensure as a RN in the state of Tennessee; Current CPR certification.

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

• Two (2) years prior home health or private duty experience.

• One (1) year prior experience in clinical management.
